Mr. Garvey has more than twenty-eight years of experience in fixed income. He began his career on Wall Street trading Federal Funds and foreign currencies. Upon deciding to concentrate on the municipal market he joined M.M. Kenney, working there for ten years. He then worked with municipal broker’s brokers JJ Kenny, Garvin Guy Butler and Hartfield & Company in New York. In 1992, Mr. Garvey joined RW Smith and quickly became an indispensable member of the RW Smith team. Mr. Garvey is also a longstanding member of the RW Smith Executive Committee.
